Love and Fear in a Warming World
With a focus on our emotions and values around nature, Love and Fear in a Warming World is a workshop-based process that uses creative activities and reflective conversations to create a stronger sense of shared purpose around the climate crisis. It is a collaboration between Climate Shift and Slam Out Loud, an award-winning charity in India that helps children from under-resourced communities find their voice through creative expression.
Since 2023, Love and Fear sessions have happened live in the UK, Europe and India, and online with participants worldwide. Recent sessions have happened at ClimateWeekNYC, London Climate Action Week, London EdTech Week, YESfest, Oppi Global, the annual gathering of British Independent Schools (COBIS), and via a series of ‘town hall’ workshops in Bangalore captured in this short film, which was created by Emma Crouch and supported by Rainmatter Foundation.
More Love and Fear events are being planned for coming months. For information, contact greg@theclimateshift.com or jigyasa@slamoutloud.org. A link to our project deck can be found here.
